Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born 20th of August 1974, Aviano Italy) American actress, particularly acclaimed for her critically-acclaimed performance of charming and naive characters. Adams began her career as a child of seven within Castle Rock Colorado. In the mid-1990s she began acting and dancing professionally in the Boulder Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. Following her move to Minnesota where she was a part of a mock-documentary film called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998) which focused on beauty contests. Her screen debut was a huge success, in which she played an obnoxious but friendly contestant, Janet relocating into Los Angeles where she began an acting career professionally. Also, she raised Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. She was discovered by the actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a deal with MGM and started her career as a film actress in the 1940s. Through the 1960s, she appeared in a variety of films, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho as well as Living It Up.
